Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (major in chemical engineering, polymer engineering, business, or related field preferred).
  • 7+ years of applicable polymer and/or technical sales, distribution, or related experience.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, specifically Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe (up to 60%) for client meetings and events.
  • Strong relationship management and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable revenue growth through strategic new business development and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Deliver gross margin performance in line with company targets.
  • Execute a disciplined, customer-centric sales approach using tools like scorecards, business reviews, and funnel management.
  • Maintain and grow key accounts by assessing customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Conduct proactive prospecting, including cold calling, to expand market presence.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to meet margin objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams.
