Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a manager of managers leading engineering organizations of 40–100 people.
- Proven track record of shipping products and improving complex delivery systems.
- Strong infrastructure and platform fluency with ability to engage with systems software engineers.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and integration of AI into engineering workflows.
- Ability to operate pragmatically with incomplete information and evolving structures.
- Experience managing both SaaS and on-prem delivery models.
- Ability to simplify, prioritize, and drive momentum in complex environments.
- Strong technical credibility to engage with engineering teams when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Lead three engineering directors and their respective teams to ensure performance and output.
- Manage engineering execution systems, including planning, release cycles, and cross-team coordination.
- Operationalize AI-native practices such as spec-driven development and AI-assisted review.
- Oversee CI/CD, testing strategies, reliability, and incident response.
- Partner with the CTO on organizational design as the company scales.
- Provide coaching, support, and clarity of expectations to the leadership team.
