Requirements

  • 10-15 years of industry experience in sales engineering within the cybersecurity market.
  • Proven experience with SIEM/Security Analytics technologies.
  • Demonstrable sales leadership experience in a high-growth enterprise software/SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of general networking concepts, Linux, and Windows.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM/XDR technologies such as Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, Exabeam, or Sentinel.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl.
  • Ability to evangelize security value propositions and present to C-level decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing Proof of Concept (POC) projects and technical solution demonstrations.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and executive presence skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear vision and strategy for the global Sales Engineering team.
  • Lead and mentor Regional Sales Engineering Managers to exceed performance targets.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop success plans and engagement strategies for new and existing customers.
  • Provide technical expertise through demonstrations and sales enablement training.
  • Act as a strategic business resource and thought leader for enterprise accounts.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align solution positioning and growth.
  • Evaluate and streamline the proof of value sales cycle with partners.
