Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity.
- 3-5 years of experience in leading large-scale cyber security implementations.
- Experience defining and leading several cyber security programs for large-scale organizations.
- Advanced-level experience in at least one or two security domains within enterprise and cloud infrastructures.
- Proven ability to develop threat detections and mitigation strategies.
- Experience leading projects and programs, including roadmap development and stakeholder communication.
- Experience leading engineers and analysts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance high-quality output with demanding timescales.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AWS Security, GCP Security).
Responsibilities
- Review and enrich playbooks to improve security detection and response capabilities through automation.
- Liaise with engineering teams on incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation actions.
- Provide technical expertise for security incidents using industry-leading security tools.
- Manage cloud-native security tooling (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub, GCP Security Command Center) in public cloud environments.
- Perform security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and audits using CSMP and endpoint security tools.
- Foster a 'Security by Design' culture through cross-team collaboration.
- Investigate security incidents and conduct post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and preventive measures.
