Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree with 5+ years of scientific/biotechnology experience in research, development, manufacturing, or technical support.
- OR Master of Science degree with 2+ years of relevant scientific/biotechnology experience.
- OR Ph.D. degree with 1+ year of relevant scientific/biotechnology experience.
- Proven scientific writing skills with the ability to develop and evaluate content for technical documentation.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical strengths with attention to detail and solution-oriented approach.
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience with proposal or RFP writing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review client Request for Proposals (RFP’s) and discuss with SMEs to clarify scope of work and deliverables.
- Develop proposals by assembling technical information, background, tasks, objectives, outcomes, methods, and budget.
- Write, revise, and edit proposal drafts including executive summaries, assumptions, pricing, and Gantt charts.
- Participate in client meetings as a technical lead to present capabilities, proposals, and project plans.
- Manage and coordinate proposal development workflow between the business development group and technical SMEs.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a centralized RFI/RFP knowledge database.
- Ensure alignment of proposal content to internal best practices and quality standards.
