Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in home health and hospice auditing/compliance.
- Ability to travel approximately 1/3 of the time.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Therapist.
- Experience conducting Home Health Mock Surveys.
- Proficiency in multiple EMR systems for home health and hospice is a plus.
- OASIS certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform remote and on-site chart audits covering clinical, OASIS, and billing issues.
- Conduct ADR, UPIC, SMRC, and OIG chart reviews as requested by clients.
- Document audit results and prepare summary reports for supervisors and clients.
- Conduct mock surveys for home health and hospice agencies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Medicare home health and hospice regulations.
- Provide clinical answers to client inquiries via email.
- Participate in teleconferences and forums focused on industry standards.
- Research and write articles for the HPS blog.
