Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
- Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of at least one Stoel Rives LLP office location required.
- Thorough understanding of conflict of interest rules.
- Solid analytical skills and sound judgment.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Clear written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with standard conflicts search strategy and corresponding software.
- Experience with conflicts of interest analysis or related risk management initiatives preferred.
- Familiarity with Intapp Open preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze conflict reports for new business and potential new hires and communicate results to reach resolution.
- Draft conflict consent letters as requested by firm attorneys.
- Construct, monitor, and disable ethical walls in coordination with the Business Intake Department.
- Recommend process improvements, policy changes, and solutions to better meet internal and external client needs.
- Collaborate with firm leadership, practice groups, and departments to ensure effective delivery of services and policy compliance.
- Assist in the development of department procedures and processes while attending regular staff meetings and training.
