Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
- Strong expertise in CMDB and Discovery (mandatory).
- Strong expertise in integrations including REST, SOAP, MID Server, and APIs.
- Good understanding of CMDB data modeling, CI relationships, and governance frameworks.
- Experience with Integration Hub, external system integrations, and API-based architecture.
- Strong scripting skills using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
- Working knowledge of ITSM and other modules.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS (Discovery/CMDB preferred).
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work in Agile environments with active participation in sprint planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of CMDB architecture, ensuring data accuracy, governance, and scalability.
- Own and manage ServiceNow Discovery, including configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Integration Hub, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
- Define and maintain CMDB data models, CIs, relationships, and reconciliation rules aligned with best practices.
- Perform CMDB health checks, audits, and data normalization to ensure high data quality and compliance.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, APIs) to support CMDB and integration use cases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Discovery, integrations, and CMDB data inconsistencies.
