Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Federal Account Executive role.
  • Experience within the Department of War (DoW).
  • Proven experience selling enterprise software, AI/ML, or data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and contracting for AI software.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex value propositions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% for agency engagement.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive full-cycle sales from prospecting to closing.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline to meet annual targets and quarterly KPIs.
  • Execute comprehensive account strategies to penetrate DoW agencies.
  • Identify stakeholders and map AI readiness solutions to their missions.
  • Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, engineering, and product teams on demos and proposals.
  • Stay current on DoW procurement trends and the competitive landscape.
