Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of territory sales management experience calling on major US retail accounts.
- Proven sales growth experience in the beauty industry with expertise in multi-channel retail environments like Ulta and Sephora.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic territory plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Salesforce.
- Strong expertise in negotiation, analytics, sales planning, budgeting, and relationship management.
- Experience in the hair category, specifically with curly/textured hair or salons.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various store locations.
- Ability to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule (with occasional Sundays).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans with retail partners to increase sales and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Plan and execute in-store events to elevate customer experience and increase brand visibility.
- Manage relationships with store management and retail staff at key accounts such as Ulta, Sephora, Nordstrom, and Macy’s.
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage Account Coordinators and independent contractors to achieve sales targets.
- Leverage data tools like Salesforce and sales reporting to refine territory strategy and conduct quarterly business reviews.
- Maintain high product knowledge and ensure consistent execution of visual direction and marketing campaigns across store locations.
- Provide weekly sales recaps and competitive feedback to regional leadership.
