Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 year of mortgage-related collection, customer service, or sales experience.
- Knowledge of the full lifecycle of a mortgage and processing steps.
- Broad knowledge of real estate transaction methods.
- Ability to understand customer issues and own them through resolution.
- Proficiency with Excel or spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong relationship management and team collaboration skills.
- Leadership or team-lead experience is preferred.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Tax, Escrow Analysis, Mortgage Insurance, and Hazard Insurance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Proactively communicate with a pipeline of borrowers regarding loan terms, servicing processes, and post-closing responsibilities.
- Monitor project progress and provide support for challenges like project delays or budget overruns.
- Investigate and resolve post-closing borrower inquiries and disputes related to servicing, payments, and loan modifications.
- Perform proactive outreach to at-risk borrowers to prevent loan defaults and develop prevention strategies.
- Assist borrowers with statements, payment schedules, online portal access, and payoff questions.
- Document all customer interactions accurately in the system of record.
- Collaborate with servicing, operations, and construction teams to provide a cohesive borrower experience.
