Requirements
- 2+ years experience working in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of ingredient sourcing, recipe development, testing, batch scaling, and edible portion yields.
- English fluency.
- Expertise in data entry and food production enterprise resource or recipe management software.
- Experience with food labeling and compliance programs.
- Proficiency in GSuite and Slack.
- Ability to leverage generative AI for work quality and speed.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end process steps for new meals, recipe edits, and nutritional, editorial, and instructional information.
- Assist internal teams and Chefs with the meal life-cycle from conception to market launch.
- Calculate and enter scalable portion and recipe yields.
- Conduct recipe input evaluations based on defined metrics, targets, and culinary best practices.
- Submit and track new recipes, recipe edits, and new ingredient SKUs.
- Categorize recipes using the tagging and designation system based on cuisine type and dietary preferences.
- Collaborate weekly with internal teams and Chefs on meal updates and recipe prioritization.
- Onboard and train chefs on the platform and recipe development systems.
