Requirements

- 6 months of experience using a computer and typing with proficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to manage 65-80 calls per day.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, patience, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform job functions in a busy and stressful environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
- Experience with medical and billing terminology (preferred).
- Prior work experience in healthcare (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries from patients, internal departments, and medical facilities via phone.
- Manage 65-80 inbound and outbound calls daily.
- Contact patients regarding balances, payment arrangements, and insurance validation.
- Screen and route patient calls to appropriate departments.
- Utilize Epic to respond to patient questions and maintain documentation.
- Maintain professional relationships and communication across departments.
