Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role.
  • Minimum 6 months of medical experience.
  • Typing speed of at least 25-30 WPM.
  • Comfortable using multiple software systems simultaneously.
  • Cable or fiber internet connection (20mbps down / 20mbps up) wired directly to router.
  • Private, quiet, and dedicated workstation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Availability for an 8am-4:30pm PST training schedule for 6-8 weeks.
  • Ability to work shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM PT Monday-Friday and 8 AM to 12 PM PT Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from patients, providers, and internal staff.
  • Provide non-clinical support to paramedics and emergency response teams.
  • Document interactions accurately in electronic systems.
  • Route calls to appropriate departments or escalate urgent issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and FS policies.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of patient services when needed.
