Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in credit and collections.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Experience with FIS GETPAID.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Infor XA and Syteline a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data to leadership.
- Experience in leading a team including setting performance standards and providing feedback.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including credit management, cash application and collections.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Lead efforts to implement FIS GETPAID, an AR automation tool.
- Develop and execute collection strategies to reduce delinquency and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve payment issues.
- Perform financial and credit analysis regarding new customer applications and high-risk customers.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing AR related reports and analysis.
- Monitor and recommend ERP enhancements to increase efficiency in the order-to-cash process.
