Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of business or equivalent diagnostic experience, or Master's degree in a life science field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of success in both capital and reagent sales.
- Strong executive-level presence and outstanding negotiation skills.
- Experience driving multi-year agreements for premium products.
- Proven experience setting both short-term (1-2 years) and long-term (3-7 years) business strategies.
- Skilled in using CRM applications, specifically Salesforce.com.
- Ability to diagnose and prescribe strategic business solutions to meet sales goals.
- Ability to coordinate between key customers and internal/external partners.
- Proactive, results-oriented approach to leadership and sales management.
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and control regional activities to meet revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Coach, develop, and direct a team of senior sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and coordinate sales efforts in key integrated Health Systems for strategic account growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with key influences in hospitals, labs, and health systems.
- Introduce new testing concepts and products while driving physician demand and adoption.
- Manage the hiring, training, and performance development of the sales team.
- Deliver presentations, host product shows, and negotiate complex contracts.
