Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling such as Semgrep, Snyk, or Veracode.
- Deep understanding of securing cloud-native applications and services on AWS.
- Proficiency in IAM, API Gateway, secrets management, and container security.
- Working knowledge of OWASP LLM Top 10 and agentic AI attack surfaces.
- Experience with AI-assisted security tools and agentic vulnerability triage.
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks including ISO, SOC, PCI, and FedRAMP.
- Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence engineering teams without direct authority.
- Proven experience in team leadership and performance management.
- Builder mentality with experience transforming processes into agentic workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow a dedicated team of security engineers.
- Define and execute a forward-looking security engineering roadmap aligned with Product Engineering needs.
- Champion shift-left security practices, including threat modeling and secure code review.
- Scale application security tooling like SAST, DAST, and SCA to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Define and enforce cloud security standards across IAM, API security, and container workloads on AWS.
- Define security standards for internal enterprise AI systems and conduct threat modeling for agentic AI.
- Partner with AI/ML engineering teams to embed security into AI development lifecycles.
- Communicate technical risks to non-technical project managers and influence engineering priorities.
