Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical pipeline role such as integrity engineer, pipeline data analyst, GIS specialist, or integrity management consultant.
- Hands-on experience with ILI data from vendors like ROSEN, Baker Hughes, Applus+, or NDT Global.
- Working knowledge of MFL, UT, EMAT, and IMU technologies.
- Familiarity with anomaly classification, fitness-for-service methods (B31G/RSTRENG), and corrosion growth modeling.
- Proficiency with PODS data models and experience with Esri ArcGIS, APDM, and UPDM.
- Ability to map customer GIS schemas and work with linear referencing and stationing frameworks.
- Working knowledge of cathodic protection data and field NDE data types.
- Understanding of 49 CFR Parts 192 & 195, ASME B31.8S, API 1160, and PHMSA Mega Rule.
- SQL proficiency including writing, reading, and debugging queries against pipeline integrity databases.
- Experience with data migration or ETL projects involving ILI, GIS, or PODS datasets.
- Ability to travel to customer sites (30–50%).
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer integrity programs, data systems, and workflows to create implementation plans.
- Guide customers through migration and mapping of ILI datasets, GIS models, corrosion and CP databases, and field NDE records.
- Validate and QA customer data loads, including unit conversions, stationing alignment, and anomaly classification mapping.
- Configure platform modules to reflect customer integrity management processes, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards.
- Deliver on-site and remote training to integrity engineers, GIS analysts, and operations teams.
- Write and validate SQL scripts and ETL routines to load and reconcile pipeline integrity datasets.
- Support API and GIS integrations between the platform and customer systems like Esri ArcGIS and SCADA feeds.
- Build reusable implementation playbooks, data mapping templates, and configuration guides.
- Troubleshoot data quality and integration issues and act as the voice of the operator for product development.
