Requirements
- 5+ years in a technical pipeline role such as integrity engineer, pipeline data analyst, GIS specialist, or integrity management consultant.
- Hands-on experience with ILI data from vendors like ROSEN, Baker Hughes, Applus+, or NDT Global.
- Working knowledge of MFL, UT, EMAT, and IMU technologies.
- Proficiency with PODS data models (5.x/6.x/7.x) and Esri ArcGIS, APDM, and UPDM.
- Solid understanding of 49 CFR Parts 192 & 195, ASME B31.8S, API 1160, and the PHMSA Mega Rule.
- SQL proficiency for writing, reading, and debugging queries against pipeline integrity databases.
- Experience with data migration or ETL projects involving ILI, GIS, or PODS datasets.
- Ability to travel frequently to customer sites (30–50%).
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer integrity programs, data systems, and workflows.
- Guide customers through migration and mapping of ILI datasets, GIS models, corrosion & CP databases, and field NDE records.
- Validate and QA customer data loads, including unit conversions, stationing alignment, and anomaly classification.
- Configure AIP platform modules to reflect customer integrity management processes and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver on-site and remote training to integrity engineers, GIS analysts, and operations teams.
- Write and validate SQL scripts and ETL routines to load and reconcile pipeline integrity datasets.
- Support API and GIS integrations between AIP and customer systems like Esri ArcGIS and SCADA feeds.
