Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in data engineering and business intelligence.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
- Advanced SQL skills and understanding of Data Lakehouse concepts and medallion architecture.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation workflows.
- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade data pipelines in Azure.
- Proven track record of leading complex analytics projects.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security (PII), and performance optimization.
- Ability to operate as a player-coach in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics layers.
- Architect Microsoft Fabric reporting solutions, including medallion layering and capacity planning.
- Enforce data-layer segregation, multi-tenant isolation, and 10+ year regulated retention policies.
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects from requirement gathering to deployment.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Optimize complex SQL queries, Power BI semantic models, and reporting dashboards.
- Build and oversee AI-ready data pipelines integrating GenAI into analytics products.
- Drive the adoption of AI-assisted data engineering tools across the team.
