Requirements

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Confident managing confidential HR and compliance documentation.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a growing and evolving organisation.
  • Experience in Human Resources, Compliance, Governance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Experience in disability services, healthcare, or community services (highly regarded).
  • Familiarity with MyP or similar NDIS workforce/compliance platforms (preferred).
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction of support workers.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, certifications, and mandatory documentation.
  • Monitor compliance requirements such as police checks, NDIS Worker Screening, and training renewals.
  • Support rostering coordination and workforce planning.
  • Assist with performance management, employee engagement, and HR-related queries.
  • Support ongoing compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Assist with internal audits, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Review and maintain policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend operational improvements.
