Requirements
- Long track record of delivering high-value, high-impact, cross-team and cross-product projects.
- Expert understanding of ML techniques (deep learning, transformers, LLMs, retrieval, ranking, recommendations, NLP).
- Proficiency with ML tools and frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience in modern model-serving and evaluation systems.
- Expertise in crafting architecture for ML and AI Context problems from business requirements.
- Experience transforming heterogeneous, incomplete data into useful AI context for customer-facing products.
- Proven ability to build reliable, scalable systems for data processing, feature generation, and context retrieval.
- Strong judgment on pragmatic decision-making regarding ML, LLMs, and platform changes.
- Ability to lead hands-on technical design, model development, and code production.
Responsibilities
- Define technical direction for applied ML and AI systems that transform data into customer value.
- Collaborate across product, engineering, data, and ML teams to deliver 0-to-1 project opportunities.
- Develop, evaluate, and productionize ML models while managing experimentation and business impact.
- Provide strategic architectural leadership for ML and AI projects across multiple product surfaces.
- Mentor and coach engineers, helping senior individual contributors grow through complex technical projects.
- Evaluate and address privacy, bias, security, reliability, cost, and maintainability across the ML lifecycle.
