Requirements
- 10+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and end-to-end product thinking.
- 4+ years leading and managing design teams within a product company.
- Background in B2B or enterprise products, ideally at an AI-native company.
- Experience designing for AI-native or AI-augmented products.
- Proven track record of honest, trust-based people management.
- Ability to articulate design rationale and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Experience deploying research strategically to make findings actionable.
- Strong understanding of the intersection of design and code, including functional prototyping.
- Exceptional UI and visual design judgment.
- Experience with developer tooling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and uphold design and research processes, tooling, standards, and craft.
- Drive user experience strategy for knowledge discovery and interaction.
- Maintain high standards of design craft and research quality across all surfaces.
- Evolve AI-first design practices, maintaining a pipeline from concept to production code.
- Coach designers and researchers, fostering skill growth and leadership.
- Build a high-trust, feedback-driven culture that emphasizes autonomy and accountability.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders as part of the EPD team.
- Develop research infrastructure that produces actionable, decision-driving insights.
