Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field in professional services.
- 2+ years managing a team.
- Strong understanding of consumer protection regulations (Reg E, Reg Z, Reg B, FCRA, etc.).
- Strong understanding of advertising standards (UDAAP, TILA, ECOA, CAN-SPAM, FTC advertising guidance).
- Experience reviewing marketing, advertising, or customer-facing communications.
- Experience supporting product development or product compliance programs.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to explain complex regulatory concepts to non-legal teams.
- High integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Fintech or financial services certifications (e.g., CRCM, CUCE) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product and marketing teams to ensure compliance with consumer protection regulations in the development, launch, and enhancement of deposit, payment, and lending products.
- Lead the evaluation and interpretation of compliance requirements for new and existing products.
- Monitor and analyze new and evolving regulatory requirements, driving updates to policies, procedures, and controls.
- Own the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and oversee monitoring and testing activities.
- Partner with Compliance Managers in compliance risk assessments.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives related to product and marketing compliance.
- Provide clear, practical regulatory guidance to stakeholders.
- Manage and develop a team of compliance professionals.
