Requirements
- 5+ years professional healthcare data analytics experience at a company where health outcomes were critical to the mission.
- Experience with Amazon AWS cloud platform and QuickSight.
- Experience with programming languages (Python, PySpark and/or Spark SQL).
- Strong understanding of Claims and EMR data.
- Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, public health, biostatistics, economics, or other related field.
- Excellent communicator with an ability to effectively engage in a technical conversation oriented to maximize business value.
- Comfortable working in the weeds while maintaining a big picture understanding.
- Able to communicate in person and in writing without relying on generative AI.
Responsibilities
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), descriptive statistics, and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and key insights in healthcare claims data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and healthcare professionals to understand project requirements, deliver analytical reports, and support decision-making.
- Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing high quality technical reports, presentations, and documentation to summarize the results of analyses.
