Requirements
- PharmD, Ph.D., MD, or other advanced healthcare degrees with relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical patient care, medical affairs, or field medical roles.
- 3+ years of medical affairs experience preferred for Senior level.
- Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Ability to engage in scientific dialogue and present complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and adapt to dynamic environments.
- Understanding of clinical research and pharmaceutical product development processes.
- Prior experience in rare diseases, cardiology, or neurology is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel 50-75% (averaging 3 days/week).
- Exceptional teaching and scientific communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical care sites, and key stakeholders within the assigned territory.
- Act as the primary source of balanced medical and scientific information for healthcare providers.
- Identify educational gaps and stay updated through literature review and medical congress participation.
- Develop and implement field territory-specific medical plans aligned with overall strategy.
- Assist in identifying potential investigators and facilitate participation in clinical research.
- Lead cross-functional collaborations and contribute to strategic development (Senior MSL).
- Mentor and support peer MSLs and contribute to medical content development (Senior MSL).
