Requirements
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO degree required.
- 5 years of experience as an MSL.
- Cardiometabolic therapeutic area expertise.
- Industry experience in Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharma company.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret key scientific data and translate findings for strategic decision-making.
- Ability to identify unmet medical, educational, and research needs at a local and regional level.
- Understanding of the healthcare delivery system and managed care arena.
- Understanding of research study design and strategic execution.
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel.
Responsibilities
- Engage with cardiologists, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals to educate on clinical and scientific evidence.
- Educate stakeholders on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
- Synthesize and communicate clinical and scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
- Attend and present at scientific congresses and meetings.
- Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries consistent with compliance standards.
- Support company-sponsored clinical trials through investigator site engagement.
- Provide scientific support for Medical Information inquiries.
- Develop territory-specific opinion leader and account plans.
- Develop scientific content for medical education initiatives.
