Requirements
- 5+ years working in or with data engineering, data platform, or analytics teams.
- 5+ years owning data or analytics products, with direct product management experience.
- Deep familiarity with modern cloud data-warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with ELT, transformation patterns, and semantic/metrics layers.
- Strong SQL proficiency for data exploration, debugging, and metadata analysis.
- Experience with business intelligence and self-service analytics tools.
- Working knowledge of data governance, classification, access control, and observability.
- Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted or natural-language analytics tooling.
- Proven ability to build and execute multi-quarter, multi-team plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Define and refine the platform’s vision, product strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap.
- Balance foundational architecture evolution with high-leverage analytics and AI use cases.
- Own the platform capability and governance charter, including access control and data quality standards.
- Manage the consumption experience for internal stakeholders, ensuring reliable self-service and AI-ready data.
- Lead the migration from legacy data environments to the new governed platform.
- Decompose complex projects into deliverable units and track milestone-level goals.
- Maintain platform health through observability and unit economic management.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to enable adoption and data product maturity.
