Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sales, professional services, solutions consulting, or customer-facing role.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manager or technical lead in software engineering or DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices including CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proven ability to consult on technical transformation initiatives.
  • Experience scoping complex technical engagements and authoring Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Demonstrated success in positioning professional services, commercial negotiations, and pricing.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and related sales operations tools.
  • Customer-first mindset with ability to balance technical depth and commercial objectives.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers and account teams to understand business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Lead scoping sessions, discovery workshops, and solution discussions to recommend service offerings.
  • Develop and present professional services proposals, pricing, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to ensure accurate scoping and execution.
  • Support the commercial sales process by addressing technical and commercial objections.
  • Manage forecasting and pipeline visibility for professional services bookings and margin targets.
  • Lead implementation engagements of core Harness modules (CI/CD/STO/IacM) for strategic new customer prospects.
