Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in graphic design or art direction, ideally in social media or video packaging.
- Strong hands-on design execution skills using Adobe Photoshop.
- Hands-on experience with AI image-generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Nano Banana Pro) in a production workflow.
- Proficiency with YouTube Analytics or similar video performance measurement tools.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and A/B testing methodologies.
- Strong research skills for auditing competitor channels and mining search data.
- Reliable, high-speed internet and a distraction-free workspace.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, OneDrive).
- Availability during core business hours of 9 am–6 pm EST, Monday–Friday.
Responsibilities
- Identify legacy videos for repackaging using YouTube Analytics, Google Trends, and competitive research.
- Design optimized thumbnails that meet brand standards, focusing on high-contrast and visual clarity.
- Utilize AI image-generation tools and Photoshop to produce finished, professional-grade thumbnails.
- Present design rationales backed by performance data and expected impact.
- Track before/after click-through rate (CTR) metrics and adjust strategies based on results.
- Coordinate backlog priorities and design swaps with the YouTube Optimization & Publishing Manager.
- Contribute to ongoing thumbnail production for the channel after the backlog is completed.
