Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field.
- 9+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or security.
- Deep hands-on experience with GCP (preferred) or other major cloud platforms.
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE) in high-scale production environments.
- Experience with cloud networking and distributed systems architectures.
- Strong experience with Cloudflare (CDN, WAF, edge security).
- Strong experience with IAM and access control systems.
- Proven experience designing secure, highly available systems at scale.
- Strong problem-solving and system design capabilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve GCP-based infrastructure architecture for scalability, resilience, and security.
- Architect and optimize Kubernetes (GKE) platforms for high-scale, multi-tenant production workloads.
- Manage cloud networking components including VPCs, load balancing, and traffic routing.
- Own integration with Cloudflare, configuring CDN, WAF, and edge security policies.
- Design and enforce least-privilege IAM architecture across GCP and platform systems.
- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and build reusable automation modules.
- Partner with SRE and Cyber Security teams on disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
- Mentor SDE2, SDE3, and Lead engineers while driving design reviews and best practices.
