Requirements

- One (1) year of customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of insurance and billing processes
- Must currently reside in Colorado
- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Answer phones for clinic system
- Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, and procedures
- Confirm patient demographic and insurance information
- Educate patients on procedure preparations and special instructions
- Prioritize work to ensure optimal reimbursement and mitigate financial risk
- Coordinate patient encounters utilizing multiple scheduling, clinical, and eligibility verification systems
