Requirements
- Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in residential merchandising or home staging is preferred.
- Ability to read construction drawings and architectural plans proficiently.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit.
- Experience with project management software like Airtable.
- Strong understanding of the residential construction industry.
- Willingness to learn and implement constructive feedback.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Ability to work with remote teams asynchronously and across different time zones.
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Create entire home designs based on client needs and department standards.
- Perform space planning, lighting design, and product selections including wallpaper, wood trim, and wall tile.
- Read and interpret floor plans and architectural documents.
- Deliver static renders and virtual tours by project deadlines.
- Collaborate across internal teams and support team members when needed.
- Manage multiple project timelines and update statuses in project management systems.
- Style merchandising models based on design presentations and specification documents.
- Collaborate with Technical Designers to ensure models meet industry standards and resolve technical errors.
