Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to be licensed and appointed by assigned client in all operating jurisdictions.
  • Minimum one year of telemarketing, appointment setting, or office experience.
  • Minimum one year of Customer Service experience solving customer problems.
  • Proficiency with Internet and Windows applications (Word, Excel).
  • Proficiency with email services (Outlook).
  • Strong consultative service and/or sales background.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and rapport building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple communication channels including phone, email, chat, and paper.
  • Ability to process complex details and articulate them simply to customers.
  • Demonstrated active listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes rapidly.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing phone calls for assigned clients and programs.
  • Uncover member concerns, present solutions, and process enrollment applications.
  • Overcome member objections and transition between scripted elements.
  • Obtain, enter, and verify member information accurately.
  • Resolve customer issues and provide member service.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of information provided by customers or accessed in systems.
  • Escalate complex situations outside the agent's control to supervisors.
  • Maintain all licensing and continued education requirements.
