Requirements
- 10+ years of project management experience on federal IT programs, preferably within VA or a large civilian agency.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related field (or 18+ years relevant experience).
- Demonstrated experience managing transitions or program stand-ups under Time and Materials contracts.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform operations, ITSM, CMDB, or ITOM in a federal environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive reporting.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 10+ resources across multiple workstreams.
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools like MS Project or Smartsheet.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience on T4NG, ESOM, or similar VA enterprise IT contracts preferred.
- Familiarity with VA onboarding, suitability, and GFE provisioning processes preferred.
- Experience using ServiceNow SPM or comparable demand management platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own overall transition planning and schedule management across CMDB, SCM, and ITOM workstreams.
- Serve as primary Kentro point of contact for VA IO leadership and the ESOM COR.
- Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule, tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical path.
- Identify, document, and actively manage program risks and escalate blockers.
- Coordinate onboarding and access provisioning for transition resources in alignment with VA suitability timelines.
- Facilitate recurring status meetings, produce written reports, and maintain program documentation.
- Manage scope change requests and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
- Support final intake processing and work product review.
