Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Proficiency in project management tools, MS-Project or other software.
- Experience with diverse groups and matrix managed environments.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and think out of the box.
- Ability to work remotely with minimal daily supervision.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Travel is ad hoc and can be up to 90%.
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of different types of projects.
- Hold kickoff calls for internal and external customers.
- Ensure end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit.
- Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Develop communication plans and interfaces to execute per project plan and scope.
- Develop and maintain successful client relationships and business opportunities.
- Manage project start-up, quality, compliance, budgets, and cost control.
- Review change orders, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Participate in the development of schedules and sequencing of work.
- Coordinate with engineering for drawings and permit personnel for approvals.
