Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in a cloud-native environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, dbt, and Git.
- Proven track record of building production-grade data pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience with tools such as Databricks, Fivetran, or Airbyte.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehouse design, and data quality best practices.
- Strong communication skills for bridging engineering and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, async-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and own the architecture of the end-to-end data platform, including ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.
- Lead the development of robust data pipelines using Fivetran, Airbyte, and Python.
- Drive data modeling excellence in Databricks using advanced SQL, dbt, and elementary.
- Define and enforce data quality standards for business-critical data marts.
- Act as technical lead, collaborating with the Product Owner and Business Insights team.
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
