Requirements

- Minimum 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications site acquisition, permitting, and leasing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills for engaging stakeholders.
- Proficiency in preparing legal transaction documents like leases and easements.
- Solid understanding of title reports, encumbrances, and land ownership issues.
- Knowledge of zoning and permitting processes and jurisdictional compliance.
- Experience in project management and managing external vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail for legal and regulatory documentation.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and current registration.
- Ability to travel 20-40% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Prepare candidate information reports detailing leasing, permitting, and land use viability.
- Negotiate leases and easements with property owners.
- Draft and proof transaction documents for legal department review.
- Review title reports to identify ownership and encumbrances.
- Manage zoning and permitting application processes and requirements.
- Direct external vendors such as environmental and engineering firms.
- Represent the company at meetings with landlords, HOAs, and jurisdictional boards.
- Obtain Enhanced 911 addressing compliance.
