Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting, finance, or financial reporting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and GAAP standards.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar enterprise applications is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and escalating key issues when necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset focused on delivering high-quality work and supporting team success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Calculate, monitor, and adjust cost accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting and period-end results.
  • Review, validate, and record service revenue transactions while supporting revenue recognition processes.
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports to evaluate revenue, costs, and operational performance.
  • Complete monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Monitor unbilled and deferred revenue balances, taking appropriate action to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Partner with accounting, finance, operations, and delivery teams to address billing, invoicing, and reporting challenges.
  • Assist with external audit requests by providing documentation, analyses, and support as required.
  • Develop ad hoc reports and financial analyses to support business decision-making and operational planning.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of accounting workflows, controls, and reporting procedures.
