Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in construction management, engineering, or related fields is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of telecommunications or project management experience, including oversight of large-scale infrastructure or OSP projects.
- Strong understanding of outside plant construction environments, including underground, aerial, and buried fiber deployments.
- Proficiency with standard business and project tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and documentation systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of OSP construction and engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate daily project execution using structured project management tools, tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple active initiatives.
- Serve as the central point of contact for project communication, ensuring alignment between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain short- and long-term project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, reporting progress updates, capturing lessons learned, and driving continuous process improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide clear, consistent reporting to leadership on project status and outcomes.
