Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- 2+ years of experience in market access or complex specialty sales.
- Proven experience in people leadership roles in management, training, or team leadership.
- Strong business acumen and contracting experience with diverse payment models.
- Deep understanding of institutional acquisition and reimbursement models (Medicare, buy and bill, ASP, 340B PHS, WAC).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the market access landscape, including recent legislation and trends.
- Strong executive presence with advanced public speaking and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and virtual meeting tools.
- Ability to travel regularly for several days at a time.
Responsibilities
- Increase awareness, market share and revenue for Azurity’s robust portfolio with targeted stakeholders.
- Negotiate National GPO contracts as well as direct and indirect regional contracts.
- Analyze, track and maintain reporting on customer insights, business interactions and contractual performance.
- Build, maintain and present strategic business plans to contribute to brand decision making.
- Support and inspire sales teams with training and insights into reimbursement, billing, coding, and payer access.
- Attend national and regional conferences to develop alliances with access customers.
- Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Brand, Analytic, Insights, Legal and Regulatory teams.
