Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading and coaching a Customer Success or Account Management team.
  • Proven experience owning a retention or churn number in a B2B SaaS or Data-as-a-Service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Sales on renewals and expansion.
  • Strong commercial instincts and understanding of retention economics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
  • Executive presence and ability to engage at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Data fluency with tools such as SQL, Python, and Snowflake.
  • Fluency in using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT.
  • Strong leadership skills and a focus on team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Customer Success Managers and Analysts.
  • Own the entire customer book and drive gross dollar retention.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate retention risk.
  • Partner with Sales on expansion opportunities and renewal planning.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
  • Modernize customer success operations and integrate AI into the team playbook.
