Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in federal and state income tax compliance and reporting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CPA firm.
  • Foundational preparation expertise in ASC 740 tax provision models.
  • Sharp analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • CPA License or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
  • Experience with Big 4 firms or in a multinational corporate setting preferred.
  • Previous exposure to Netsuite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quarterly and annual global ASC 740 tax provision.
  • Execute calculations for tax implications related to ASC 718 Stock-Based Compensation, 162(m), and other provision components.
  • Support tax accounting control compliance under Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Manage internal and external information request processes for tax provision, compliance, and audits.
  • Review income tax return workpapers and returns prepared by external service providers.
  • Coordinate compliance timelines and review corporate income tax extensions and estimated tax workpapers.
  • Drive non-income tax operational pipelines for business licenses and gross receipts.
  • Draft responses to tax notices and audits while compiling supporting documentation.
  • Prepare monthly general ledger tax account reconciliations and journal entries.
