Requirements

  • Three to five years of IT experience providing user support in a complex business environment.
  • Two or more years of experience with Windows 10, Office 365, and Apple iOS.
  • Basic understanding of networking and DNS principles.
  • Strong technical skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting applications, operating systems, and hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong time and priority management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel to LSC locations, business functions, and training as needed.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and related tech products.
  • Microsoft, Cisco, or similar technology certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accept, prioritize, and diagnose initial IT support requests, driving resolution independently or with field support assistance.
  • Attempt to resolve the majority of support requests upon first contact.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of standard desktop, laptop, and virtual desktop images.
  • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of technology standards, hardware, and software rollouts.
  • Support mobile device technology service requests and manage the Microsoft Intune system.
  • Administer user management controls over company software systems.
  • Maintain IT hardware, perform minor repairs, and manage inventory of spare parts.
