Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in software development across building, integration, security, and architecture.
- Expertise in object-oriented programming with Python as the primary language.
- Experience with front-end technologies including React, CSS frameworks, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience developing or integrating LLM-powered systems.
- Knowledge of AI patterns such as tool-calling agents, planning loops, and RAG pipelines.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and outputs.
- Experience leading a team is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise-grade APIs is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for AI systems including shared SDKs, guardrails, and agentic infrastructure.
- Own architecture and technical strategy for complex backend and AI platform systems.
- Write production-grade code as a hands-on individual contributor.
- Design and operate LLM-powered systems including RAG pipelines and model observability.
- Champion AI-native development practices and tools to drive team productivity.
- Mentor engineers and establish coding standards and architectural documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product, Design, and QA to execute technical plans.
