Requirements
- 7–11 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipeline development, or backend/data platform engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), SQL modeling, and database design principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for building production-grade data systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Familiarity with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and large-scale analytics systems.
- Experience building scalable APIs (REST and GraphQL).
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as ReactJS and TypeScript is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows like RAG or tool-calling agents is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and advanced data models in SQL.
- Act as a senior technical expert to guide architectural decisions, review code, and ensure best practices.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Establish and enforce standards for data quality, access control, and documentation.
- Partner with product and business teams to translate raw data into actionable insights.
- Evaluate and introduce modern cloud data warehouses and AI-assisted development tools.
