Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, Communications, Economics, or Public Policy.
- 3-5 years of experience in communications, advocacy, or international trade.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills for complex ideas.
- Experience creating digital content and managing social media platforms.
- Familiarity with CMS tools (e.g., WordPress) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite or Buffer).
- Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe.
- Understanding of international trade frameworks, including AfCFTA and Canadian trade diversification.
- Experience supporting inclusive initiatives with a focus on gender equality.
- English language fluency (Level 5).
Responsibilities
- Develop policy briefs, white papers, and investor materials regarding trade agreements and market trends.
- Produce newsletters, success stories, and social media content to showcase trade opportunities.
- Organize webinars and virtual networking events to build stakeholder relationships.
- Develop value proposition materials to attract Canadian investors to sectors like telecom, energy, and finance.
- Monitor campaign performance and analyze data to optimize advocacy efforts.
