Requirements
- 7+ years of Salesforce engineering experience.
- At least 2 years in a lead, architect, or senior individual contributor role.
- Expert-level Apex skills, including asynchronous patterns and SOQL optimization.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (required).
- Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent credential (strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated experience designing and governing Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems like Workday or Boomi.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, sharing architecture, and data access patterns.
- Experience with SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, and version-controlled Salesforce development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and business stakeholder reviews.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the Salesforce platform architecture, including data model, security model, integration architecture, and overall technical health.
- Lead technical design and delivery for complex Salesforce features, integrations, and platform enhancements.
- Manage two Salesforce Engineers, providing technical direction, code review, mentorship, and career development.
- Architect and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems via Boomi middleware and direct API patterns.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and release management practices.
- Lead discovery and requirements analysis sessions with business stakeholders.
- Evaluate third-party AppExchange solutions and advise on build-vs-buy decisions.
- Manage technical debt, governor limit health, and platform security posture.
- Drive Salesforce release management, including tri-annual release impact assessment and testing coordination.
- Partner with the Data Architect on Salesforce data governance and master data strategy.
