Requirements

  • Successful track record meeting sales quotas and acquiring new logos.
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal sales cycle and procurement processes.
  • Proven track record selling as an individual, growing revenue, and executing strategic campaigns within the federal public sector.
  • Experience with software, IT, or mobile sales is preferred.
  • Experience establishing and growing relationships via software channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain high-level relationships.
  • BA/BS degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential sales opportunities, arrange meetings, and initiate sales momentum.
  • Build proposals and close new business.
  • Identify, establish, and build relationships with organizations that assist in sales of Smarsh products.
  • Refine and progress capture plan strategies.
  • Attend business development meetings including kickoffs, status, and approvals.
  • Work alongside executive leadership to identify, refine, and execute DOD and Federal growth strategies.
  • Achieve yearly sales targets and build opportunity pipelines.
  • Develop and execute effective business development and sales call plans for target agencies.
  • Develop industry relationships and represent the company at industry events.
