Requirements
- Successful track record meeting sales quotas and acquiring new logos.
- Knowledge and understanding of federal sales cycle and procurement processes.
- Proven track record selling as an individual, growing revenue, and executing strategic campaigns within the federal public sector.
- Experience with software, IT, or mobile sales is preferred.
- Experience establishing and growing relationships via software channels.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new customers.
- Ability to build and maintain high-level relationships.
- BA/BS degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential sales opportunities, arrange meetings, and initiate sales momentum.
- Build proposals and close new business.
- Identify, establish, and build relationships with organizations that assist in sales of Smarsh products.
- Refine and progress capture plan strategies.
- Attend business development meetings including kickoffs, status, and approvals.
- Work alongside executive leadership to identify, refine, and execute DOD and Federal growth strategies.
- Achieve yearly sales targets and build opportunity pipelines.
- Develop and execute effective business development and sales call plans for target agencies.
- Develop industry relationships and represent the company at industry events.
