Requirements
- Must be able to legally work in the US.
- 5+ years of experience in web development.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL, including schema design and complex queries.
- Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles.
- Demonstrable experience with at least one major full-stack project (front-end, back-end, and database).
- Ability to design, develop, and launch web applications from scratch.
- Familiarity with web and SQL security best practices.
- Comfortable working outside of a framework.
- Experience using Git in a team environment.
- Ability to travel to San Jose, CA up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite.
- Ability to learn new skills independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features, seeing them through to production.
- Write clean, secure, scalable, and readable code.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional team members.
- Integrate and build for internal and external APIs.
- Develop new products in Python and maintain existing codebases.
- Design database schemas and write optimized SQL queries.
- Profile and optimize new and legacy code.
- Use CSS and Typescript to implement front-end functionality.
